Oktoberfest Announcement
A Celebration of Community, Culture, and What鈥檚 Ahead!
As we kick off 2026 at GISW, we鈥檙e reflecting on one of our most joyful community moments 鈥� GISW Oktoberfest! Thanks to the incredible support of our families, partners, and our main sponsor, gategroup, the event raised $11,646.24 for the GISW Global Learning Fund, bringing us very close to our $15,000 goal!
The Global Learning Fund supports academic excellence, innovative programming, and global learning experiences that strengthen and enrich the GISW student experience. 鈫�
Looking ahead, the excitement continues to build for October 3rd, 2026, when we鈥檒l celebrate not only our GISW Oktoberfest, but also German Unity Day 补苍诲鈥�most exciting of all鈥�50 years of the 一本道 !!!
For five decades, the 一本道 has inspired a love of the German language, fostered cultural exchange, and brought generations of learners together. From beginners to fluent speakers, the 一本道 has built bridges across cultures鈥攁nd we cannot wait to honor this extraordinary milestone as one community.
Three celebrations. One unforgettable day. We can鈥檛 wait to celebrate together!
